TGI Friday`s in Buffalo

The changed the recipe of their french onion soup. Seems like they thinned it out to accommodate a larger bowl. Other than that, all was good.

I have visited this location three different times, always during the week about an hour before the restaurant closes. As other individuals have noted, there has never been a hostess to greet me at the door and it usually does take a few minutes for a server or the bartender to realize you are there. It would be nice if they would change this since it's been mentioned several times by other customers, but perhaps there are legitimate constraints that make this situation a reality. With that said, I am in love with the spinach artichoke dip because the spinach is not overcooked and mushy. The appetizer is quite filling if you are not very hungry. Bartender and staff have always been friendly to me.

Wow just wow. CURRENTLY sitting in Fridays this is our "spinach dip" which apparently translates to cheese covered whole spinach. We had chunky dirty silver wear and the waitress Jess was just down right rude! My French onion soup was very thick (No broth) so we asked to speak to the manager. The older gentlemen came over and was instantly defensive. I showed him our fork and then the soup finishing with the spin dip. His first words were "first of all" and he said the soup and dip was new recipe and he doesn't know why they changed it. The waitress then walked by with new silver wear and set it on the table as she walked by, not saying a word! Just unreal to be treated that way by the manager on top of it. Worst customer service of my life!!!

Always amazing food and a great time. Never had a issue here.

Posting here my favorite dishes from TGIF. Second time here in Venice Grand Canal branch and as always it's a pleasure dining here. We are the last customers but we didn't feel the staff are rushing us to finish. Customer Service is superb keep it up.

The Sampler Platter and. Quesadilla were both pretty good, waitress was very friendly and helpful

Wow this place was great. We had the steak sizzler skillet, French onion soup, salad, mac and cheese. Food was great, place was clean, price was fair, excellent service.

My family and I were there last Sunday.. After a handful of angry people leaving, some stopped us in the parking lot before entering saying " don't go in there" we went in anyway. 5 other families that were waiting for tables walked out. The place was dead, every other table wasn't cleared yet. I used to love this location. Very sketchy place now. Would not recommend this location.

Absolutely worst service I've ever had. We ate there tonight and had the waitress who had the booths to the right of the bar. She had 3 tables and that clearly was too many to handle. Drink refills took 20 mins. Appetizer took 25. She barely acknowledged us for the entire time we were there. By the time we left, her entire section was just empty tables full of trash. I used to bartend at TGIF galleria and I remember tgif never being like this. I wouldn't be surprised if this location shuts down soon.

Dined here on 10/19/19. Service from beginning to end was very slow even with a half empty restaurant. Took almost 10 minutes for the kids to get menus. Drink orders took almost 10 minutes to receive after finally getting to order them (nothing exotic). Waitress couldn't do more than one thing at once, which pushed us to just about 30 minutes before getting to order our food. Overall the food was ok. My wife's chicken sandwich was "mushy". I didn't even bother to complain, because by the time our waitress was back to the table everyone else was done eating. We won't be back.

Waited 10 minutes for the bartender who walked pass us several times and never acknowledged.Then had to flag her down to get a drink.Waited another 15 minutes to get a refill after trying to flag her down. Bartender was to worried about running around.

Bartender Jimmy was great ! Very nice and made good drinks! Will come out for happy hour to see him more often.

As a business owner myself I hate bad reviews. I really hate doing them on other businesses. But sometimes they are earned. 4 tables seated in the entire building. Just under 10 minutes for anyone to even know we were there to be seated. Then another 5 minutes for them to come back and seat us. Finally seated. Took our order for two strawberry lemonades and a water. 15 minutes later we left. I'll bet they dont even know it. We will probably be done eating at Red Robin before they even notice. Terrible customer service.

One of those places you know the food would be good. Nothing spectacular but something you can count on.

Our sandwiches were good but the server acted like we were a bother bathrooms were filthy. Just not a very good dining experience.

Ordered our meal to go tonight for christmass...the 2 of us ordered the whisky glazed steak neither of our steaks had any sauce or glaze on it and both were over cooked! We also asked for to sides of jd glaze and did not receive these either! Very disappointed 😞

Food was ok. Drinks are expensive. Waiter was great. Menu needs more choices as most of it was the same stuff but a different name lol.

Friday's is the perfect place for drinks and appetizers!! The bartenders Jimmy & Jamie are awesome, and besides the amazing food, they are the reason my friends and coworkers and I go there every week. I would recommend the cheeseburger sliders and the loaded cheese fries but honestly all of the food is good.

I split the cajun chicken and shrimp with a friend. It had just the right amount of zing and the half portion was just enough for me.

If like to start out by saying that our server was wonderful!! My review is NO reflection on her. My friend and I went to TGI Fridays expction to find their usual "lunch" option. Apparently the Powers a be decided to do away with this popular option. We were told the day before people walked out after heading that. I wish we had done the same. Our cheddar broccoli soup arrived like warm at best and the want even an option to buy some bread and butter to go along with it. I seriously doubt I'll return to Fridays--definitely NOT for lunch. We felt very sorry for our server as she was the only one there to cover the dining room area and one other girl was there handling the bar and seating. Not good!!!

Do not understand how a restaurant can close down a hour early because they feel as so there will be no customers!!! I very disappointed considering the fact that I’m sitting here and a manager comes to the door and says they are closing early. Unbelievable.

I'll be honest, I haven't been to Friday's in years because of bad experience. We decided to give it another chance and let than the restaurant being a bit too warm, everything was great! Good was good, drinks were cold and our waitress was very nice. I like the addition of Beyond burgers too! Being a vegetarian I was worried the wouldn't be much of a variety for me. I was pleasantly surprised!

Great service and great food finally filet mignon it was great

Got the wrong order, ordered boneless wings and got some in wings. Waiter never came back to offer refills, and she gave us the wrong receipt.

Terrible. Absolutely terrible. I have never been to a place that is as inconsistent as TGI Fridays. It's an absolute shame. Their food is relatively solid but the entire experience is ruined by some of the worst staff that I've ever seen gathered under a single roof. I'm not even sure how this place manages to stay afloat anymore. Employees doing drive-by hand offs without ever coming back around to refill drinks until it's time to pay the bill. Screwed up orders that aren't rectified or forgotten. Rude waitresses. The list goes on. Think I'll just take my business to Applebees, thanks.

Server was good but overall I would not go back. The food quality was not worth the price for sure. Dissappointing

Very disappointed. I am and have been a stripes reward . Ordered salmon dish was $19. Got fries instead of mash potatoes. Cole slaw was warm in a hot container. And salmon was dry ,small and had bones. They brought out another piece which was better but still small.ate potatoes because they were getting cold never brought fresh ones. Manager never came out to apologize or offer compensation. Paid in full plus tip

We love anything with their Jim Bean Bourbon Sauce. A must try for fans of BBQ sauce.

Burgers were not cooked as ordered. They quickly made the order correct and offered a free round of drinks. The second time around the burgers were perfect

We went on a Saturday, it was a surreal experience. The hope evident on the faces of the Friday crowd had all but disappeared knowing that only one more day stood as a buffer to the Monday doldrums. The motz sticks were good tho.

Great food, great service. No complaints. They seem to update their menu often enough so there is variety.

The food was really good and drink specials were fantastic. Bartender was attentive and had a great sense of humor. Had the bar laughing several times (and kept it clean).Will definitely go back!

Amazing food, kid friendly and adult-friendly love the atmosphere. Great for a date drink or family settings.

The hospitality was awesome the drinks came straight to me and my friends table and the food was beyond amazing their fries are definitely a must and I highly recommend their chicken bacon ranch sandwich is really good and delicious and full of flavor I can't wait to go back there again

Most likely will not be returning here anytime soon. It was a very slow afternoon.....no issues with my meal, but my friend ordered ribs and what she got had definitely been frozen, were small, cold, and full of nothing but fat. When we got in asked to have our check split, waitress said no problem, brought us one check at the end. After saying she had split it but it was in back (what?) She split it again, but brought the card machine over to the table from the counter and had us swipe our own cards! Again not a busy day at all when we went

Everything was great.... only problem was I froze... AC was extremely cold.Of course, that's just me.. I am sure others loved it.

Our server was fantastic. Although he was very new he was on top of everything and very attentive. The kitchen staff took well over 45 minutes to get simple food orders out. My husband's burger was over cooked and the cheese was just thrown on after the food was off the grill. Not melted, cold.

We went here for my husbands birthday. We had to wait 20 mins okay no biggie it was a weekend. But was odd when we were waiting there were a bunch of tables that were empty and walking by when we were getting seated there were a ton of tables that had dirty dishes that stayed there our whole time there. The tables were covered in something sticky along the edges getting on our clothes, the food quality was awful, no flavor an tasted like garbage. We were very disappointed. Our waitress hardly checked on us to see if we need anything. Expect for when it was time to pay when she hovered over my husband shoulder. Should of listened to the reviews!!

Shrimp alfredo was 4 shrimp,a few pieces of chicken I've neaver wrote a review befor.first time and last time because I will neaver ho back.waitress was very helpful.

They are always understaffed at this location. It takes forever for someone to even get your drink order. Then when the wait staff finally gets around to see how it is going & then you ask for something else, forget about getting it while you're still eating. Also pretty pricey unless they have a special. I got a pick two for $14.99. I had dragon glazed salmon and parmesan crusted chicken. The salmon was good size, chicken could have been better, but was full enough after eating the salmon with rice and broccoli. I do love their jasmine rice, though. If I ever find a dish I really like, they always seem to take it off the regular menu. Its like they constantly change the menu, not just the specials...annoyed!

Well ordered the bourbon glazed filet.. To go got the sirloin unless they got tuff filets cutting it up with chainsaw.. 😕

Stopped by for happy hour, the place was busy and we got there at shift change. Wasn't happy they didn't have the appropriate garnishes for the special drinks, which was what I ordered because we were out for a special occasion, which is why I deducted a "star" in my rating. Your experience could be better, I think it was just that it was the time we were there at 5:30pm on a Saturday....give it a try.
